Are you fluent in a non-English Language?

In order to help spread the word about Gender and Sexual Diversity Therapy, we’ve decided to publish a couple of recent papers we’ve written into local languages which can then be available for free download from our website and which can be freely distributed around the world.

So far we have both a French and a Spanish version of two specific papers, one on Gender and Sexual Diversity Therapy (GSDT) and another on Sexual Orientation.  We are interested to find other native or fluent non-English speakers to translate localised versions.

The paper is fairly brief (around 3,000 words).  We’ve currently got people actively working on Afrikaans, Chinese, Croatian, Dutch, German, Greek, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Latvian, Norwegian Bokmål, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Serbian and Swedish translations in addition to the French and Spanish versions we’ve already done.

We’re keen to get the works into Arabic and more South Asian languages in particular.

The second paper (Sexual Orientation) is largely unallocated and we’re in need for people to take that one on too.

This is an entirely pro bono project, we don’t have any money to pay anyone, especially since we won’t be making any money from the project, but it is a way to help spread the word about Gender and Sexual Diversity Therapy to a much wider (non-English speaking) audience and the translator will be able to have a credit biography and contact details in their language document which could be useful professionally.

We’re aiming for as many localised language versions as possible and I hope you will be interested in being part of this project.

We plan to launch the first two by World Pride in the first week of July, but if this deadline wasn’t convenient for you we will simply add each new paper as they become available and then ensure they are promoted on Social Media networks - particularly those relevant to the language concerned.

We can email a PDF version of the English Language version of the GSDT chapter for you to see how it reads.

If you are interested and able to help with this project please email admin@pinktherapy.com and we can see if your language version has been allocated yet.
